All your personal profiles, resume versions, and job tracking records are stored locally on your device. We do not collect, sell, or rent your personal data to any external servers or third-party advertisers.
1. Information We Collect and Process
The Extension processes the following types of information exclusively to provide its core job matching and auto-fill functionalities:
Resume & Profile Data: Candidate name, contact info, experience details, and user-provided resume text snippets. This data is saved strictly in your local browser storage (chrome.storage.sync and chrome.storage.local).
Job Posting Data: Job titles and job descriptions parsed from active browser tabs (e.g., LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Comeet, Lever) during user-initiated scans.
Optional AI Key: If you supply your personal Google Gemini API key, it is encrypted in browser storage and used solely to communicate with Google's official Gemini API.
2. How We Use Your Information
All data processing serves strictly user-requested features:
To compute compatibility match scores between your resumes and job listings.
To auto-fill job application web forms at your explicit request.
To generate tailored cover letters and interview preparation questions.
To maintain your personal job application tracker history on your device.
3. Third-Party Services & API Data Transfer
The Extension does not transmit data to any proprietary servers. If AI features are triggered with your personal Google Gemini API key:
Job titles, job description snippets, and resume text are sent directly to Google Gemini API over secure HTTPS connections.
